Today was absolutely gorgeous!
Thankfully the wind had dropped from yesterday (one final wintery blast for the Little Man’s last soccer game – just to remind us all that we live on top of a mountain and are at the mercy of the weather… PS. his team won!) and the sun was glorious.
So after I’d done all of the domestic chores I grabbed my camera and headed up the street to the tree that has those wonderful cherry blossom-type flowers. A little snap here and a little snap there, and I’d gotten my photo-fix for the afternoon.
I didn’t manage one for yesterday, even though there were so many things that made me smile…
The Little Man’s team winning their final game…. Daughter telling me that she loves our house because I’ve made it such a ‘cool’ place to live in…. Beating Husband at his new PS Vita game after my second try…. Snuggling up in bed with the Little Man….
….and the list could go on-and-on-and-on.
The petals look as though they are make from fine porcelain. Just beautiful Tasha.
Thank you Jane 🙂
I’ve been wanting to photograph the blossoms for a couple of weeks now. If I kept procrastinating on it they’d all be finished… Thankfully the weather was accommodating as well – wind and photographing flowers does not work well.
