Is it just me or did this taking stock roll around quickly?
Making: infused calendula oil moisturiser for my daily skin card
Cooking: as little as possible with the heat we’ve been having… it’s too hot to eat
Drinking: filtered water with a pinch of salt
Reading: a new-to-me Ursula K. Le Guin book – The Unreal & The Real: Where on Earth – a collection of her short stories
Wanting: mmmm… is there anything I want?
Looking: at what seeds I need to sow for my Autumn-Winter harvest
Playing: with floral arrangements and trying to photograph them… I’m really uncomfortable with it, so I’m going to persist
Deciding: what to have for dinner… on the nights it’s not too hot to eat
Wishing: for the madness to end (have I said that before?)
Enjoying: time spent with my Girl
Waiting: for my chicken tractor to arrive so I can get chickens!!
Liking: time alone
Wondering: if the madness will end
Loving: the couple of cooler nights we had… makes it so much easier to sleep
Pondering: what to have for lunch
Considering: that I think about food a lot
Watching: Supernatural. Yes, I know it’s old, but I love myself a bit of the supernatural genre… and to be honest, it’s sometimes a bit too ‘real’ if you get my drift
Hoping: … there’s so much to hope for…
Marveling: at the abundance of cucumbers coming from the three rogue plants that sprung up in the garden
Needing: a bit of a nana-nap
Smelling: the fresh air of my little mountain town
Wearing: comfy pants!
Following: the happenings of the world… now and again I need to have a few days away from it though because the world is seriously shit right now
Noticing: the little moments… the ones that you tend to overlook because life is so busy
Knowing: that eventually the madness will end, and a new era will emerge…
Thinking: about when I want to go visit my Sister
Feeling: a bit tired as I type this
Admiring: the dahlias in the house down the street… as much as I would love to grow more, I’ve got enough plants to tend to already
Sorting: through my wardrobe and donating the ones that no longer fit
Buying: a chicken tractor!! Can’t wait!!!!
Getting: through my research-and-learning reading list… slowly
Bookmarking: hints and tips for gardening – there’s always more to learn
Disliking: city traffic – two days is my limit in the city now… the traffic is simply too hectic for my country sensibilities
Opening: my mind to the possibilities – again, there’s always more to learn
Giggling: the little birds having a bath in the bird bath – I can’t help but smile and laugh at their antics every time
Snacking: on green beans straight from the garden
Coveting: … I have everything I really need… so nothing
Hearing: yet another plane fly overhead… I can’t remember exactly when it started, but I swear my house wasn’t always under a flight path
with peace, love and light,
Tasha xo
