I had every intention of blogging weekly this year… but the enthusiasm ran out.
I’m going to try and get back to it. I do enjoy creating posts. It’s just I don’t always prioritize the time to write them… sound familiar?
So, taking stock.
#20 – can you believe it!
Making: beautiful photos in my Studio
Cooking: eggs, most days for lunch
Drinking: ginger-infused water – love it!
Reading: a few different books at once actually, but loving The Museum of Extraordinary Things by Alice Hoffman. Her book, The Dovekeepers is one of my all-time favourites, so when I saw this one at the local book fair I picked it up
Wanting: for all of the insanity to stop
Looking: at shelving for my Studio
Playing: Solfeggio music – Solfeggio frequencies make up the ancient 6-tone scale thought to have been used in sacred music (think Gregorian Chants). Each o tone is comprised of a frequency required to balance your energy and keep your body, mind and spirit in perfect harmony.
Deciding: on my future
Wishing: all of the insanity would end
Enjoying: the colours of Spring
Waiting: for our new coffee machine to arrive
Liking: a cup of Tulsi tea in the mornings
Wondering: if the insanity will ever end
Loving: the new plants still popping up in the garden after four years
Pondering: the future
Considering: new tall shelving for my Studio – trying to utilize a wall to create floor space
Watching: too much Netflix 🤣… but seriously, enjoying Teenage Bounty Hunters and Money Heist at the moment
Hoping: the insanity will end
Marveling: at the diverse beauty of Spring
Needing: sunshine… loving my time outside
Smelling: the tension tamer essential oil blend I am diffusing
Wearing: purple socks
Following: the use of Ivermectin in the treatment of covid…
Noticing: I sleep better after my evening green smoothie
Knowing: that I won’t have that injection
Thinking: about the future
Feeling: grateful that I live where I do
Admiring: the intensity of conviction some individuals have
Sorting: out my Studio… I have too much craft stuff
Buying: stuff online… one of the pitfalls of living rural
Getting: outside every afternoon to dig my toes in the earth
Bookmarking: not much at the moment
Disliking: the divide that is occurring
Opening: my eyes to how the world operates… so many of us live with our head in the sand
Giggling: at my other kids (the parrots and galahs that I feed) fighting over who is the top bird
Snacking: on ginger and brazil nuts
Coveting: still would like that Canon G1X
Wishing: the insanity would end
Hearing: the whir of the air purifier I have on my desk
there is so much uncertainty in the world at the moment…
I have deliberately been keeping my opinions to myself throughout this pandemic, as I feel it is a deeply personal choice that needs to be made.
While I have made my feelings and views apparent in this post, it is not my intention to create any feelings of me vs you, us vs them… because at the moment we all just need a little more love and understanding.
With love,
Tasha xo
