Another glorious day was spent at Marinka, and as the sun was setting, a small bird caught my eye.
The little blue wren’s around our house aren’t as brave, so I took the opportunity to photograph this little fellow as he (she!?) hopped along the stone wall.
Edited to black and white, with the Glass Plate 3 texture from the FlyPaper Textures Antique Edges 2 set.
I am so charmed by your little GREAT wren. ; )
I’m assuming that my little bird is a “great” wren then Kelly…!?
All I know is that it was co-operative 🙂

PS Love the look of your Etsy shop.
Lovely photos!
Looks like a male superb fairy wren. The males have the black and blue around their faces during mating season, the females are a a fawn and light brown colour.
Definitely sounds like the little bird I photographed, Joy.
Thanks for letting me know!
