“Sometimes there are no words to help one’s courage.  Sometimes you just have to jump.”

~Clarissa Pinkola Estes

Hard to believe that I started this blog almost 14 years ago?!
Which makes it the right time to (re)introduce myself.

First of all, let me say hello
hello!
and thank you for taking the time to drop by the blog.

I’m Tasha
A soon-to-be 50-year old conservative hippie, I live in a small town in rural New South Wales – and though my home may be on top of a mountain, I’m a beach-girl at heart.
I’ve worn many hats over the years – wife, mother, friend.  I’ve run businesses and worked for other people.  I’ve been a student and a teacher.
And I have always been a lover of all things photographic, a creative soul and lifelong learner.

I started this blog way back in 2007, as a way of connecting to the world after I had injured my back. It’s been a few years since then, and though my focus on the blog has changed as my interests have, one thing remains constant – I blog for me.

My blog has always been about sharing with the world the things that make my heart sing. Because, I figure that if my heart sings for something, somewhere out on this big blue-and-green globe, someone else is humming a similar tune.

So what have I shared here?

– crafts and DIY’s that I’ve made and enjoyed
– things from the interwebs that caught my eye
– moments and musing from my ordinary life
– photos that show the ordinary in a beautiful way
– unsolicited advice and motivations

And what will I be sharing this year?
I’m keeping it simple this year – so you’ll see more of the photos I love, and unsolicited moments and musing from my ordinary life.

I do hope that something I post will resonate with you. That you’ll share it with a friend, leave a comment or share it on your socials.  Only if it resonates, because we’re humming a similar tune.

And hopefully you’ll keep popping back to see my latest musings…

until then – take care

Tasha xo
