I’ve decided to go back through the archives and share some of my favourite, older images with you…

white daisy with bokeh at golden hour

going back through your photo archives is a valuable exercise

Apart from the feelings of nostalgia, it’s a great way to see how you’ve grown with your photography – to realize that you weren’t bad at this craft; you’ve learned from your mistakes, and refined your photography and editing style.

I remember that I was fascinated by the golden hour and bokeh at this stage of my photography journey.  White daisies (at least I think they’re daisies!) grew in my garden and were a regular subject for my photography.  This is still one of my favourite images – the painterly bokeh background and simplicity of a single flower and edited pretty much the same as the SOOC (straight out of camera) image.
