going back through your photo archives is a valuable exercise
Apart from the feelings of nostalgia, it’s a great way to see how you’ve grown with your photography – to realize that you weren’t bad at this craft; you’ve learned from your mistakes, and refined your photography and editing style.
I remember that I was fascinated by the golden hour and bokeh at this stage of my photography journey. White daisies (at least I think they’re daisies!) grew in my garden and were a regular subject for my photography. This is still one of my favourite images – the painterly bokeh background and simplicity of a single flower and edited pretty much the same as the SOOC (straight out of camera) image.
