Each morning I either layout, remind or ask the Boy if he has taken his pain medication.
From front to back – one cod liver oil, two TherActive Pain and four magnesium glycinate.
The magnesium is not an everyday tablet, but he’s been having a rough time of late, so felt like he needed a few to help get through the day.
A cup of tea after breakfast, while I watch the ABC News channel to see what has happened in the world over the last 24 hours.
Drop the Boy to school and swing past The Fruit Shop for a morning coffee.
I’ll stop and have a chat with Sophie while she makes my coffee, and then it’s off home to hit the chores.
Winter has finally made its presence felt, so the lounge room becomes a bit of a Chinese laundry, with clothes hung near the fire to dry overnight.
Chores done… mostly… so it’s time to head into my Studio to edit photos. I’ve been listening to the Daily Suggestions on Spotify lately. They’re not doing too bad a job at picking some good music for me!
Before I know it, the day has gotten away and the sun is setting on Walcha.
It’s an ordinary day in the life of an ordinary lady.
Sure, there are times when I wish for more… more adventure, more excitement, more thrills… but truth be told, I love the simple things that make up the bulk of my life.
