School and work go back this week and after nearly 6 weeks off and out of routine, getting back in to the swing of things is going to be difficult.
which is why i’m going to be advocating for lots of rest and relaxation
Rest is important because it rejuvenates your body and mind, helps to regulate your moods and has been linked to learning and memory function. Not enough rest can lead to us being stressed and that’s certainly not the best way to be starting out a new year!
5-10 minutes is all you need
Talk a walk, meditate or simply write down on a piece of paper all the things that are buzzing around in your head.
And rest.
